Lootera Movie Review

Set on the backdrop of 1953 era when the "Jamindari" System has taken the blow, the film is bound to be slow paced and to be so called classic one. But coming to the point straight forward it's not that classic, indeed seems to to be stretched forcefully and boring.

So this means its not worth watching... No it has its moment, specially the the story and the beautiful Canvas. Actors have done a very good job. Sonakshi for the first time in her career has been a part of the story where she is not a showpiece but an utmost requirement and she has done justice to the role as well. The male protagonist "Ranveer" has been showed in the grey shade and rather then creating any sympathy he generate the hatred and the audience wished him to be dead. The movie is so slow at times that you may feel irritated.

This movie is not meant for entertainment its meant for critical appreciation. But its not worth that even.

songs are nice, specially sawarlu.. best punch lines are:
"mujhe sabne istmal kiya hai, pyar sirf tumne kiya"
"mai ek masterpiece banana chahta hu, jise duniya yaad rakhe"
